Tia Winter | 04 June 2020

World leading mobile casino and social games developer and licenser Gaming Realms has announced that the revenue growth they achieved earlier this year has continued through to the second quarter of 2020.

While official revenue figures for the six months ending on the 30th of June, will only likely be released in around September, the brand has stated that for the first two months of 2020’s second quarter they have experienced an 80% year on year growth for licensing revenue. Gaming Realms also stated more success for the second quarter thus far, also seeing a 15% revenue growth in their social division in this time.

A Good Year For Gaming Realms

The second quarter revenue growth shows continued growth for Gaming Realm’s casino content licensing operations who also announced a good first quarter performance with an impressive 90% increase in licensing revenue compared to the previous year. Much of the developer’s growth can be attributed to their successful partnerships which include new deals with DraftKings in the United States and Sky Betting & Gaming and 888 Casino in the United Kingdom.

Despite the annual increase in revenue and major growth for the company over the last few years, Gaming Realms revealed a comprehensive loss of £5.4 million for the 2019 year. The company’s financials which were shared in April 2020, reveal a total revenue for the year of £6.9 million with licensing revenue accounting for £4.1 million of the total revenue. This licensing revenue figure was up 86.4% from 2018 where the brand raked in just £2.2 million in this sector with a total revenue of £6.2m in 2018.
